Varudu review – Allu Arjun Varudu telugu movie review rating

Varudu is a Telugu film directed by Gunasekhar and starring Allu Arjun, Arya, Suhasini Mani Ratnam and a new heroine-in-the-making. Gunasekhar is not revealing any details of the heroine. But, some websites have reported that the heroine’s name is Bhanu Mehra! Tamil actor Arya, enacting a negative character for the first time in his movie career. his movie is based on the concept, mixed with commercial elements.

The other crucial characters have been played by Ashish Vidyardhi, Brahmanandam, Naresh, Sayaji Shinde. The Audio was released on March 7th the music has been composed by Mani Sharma. Varudu movie release was postponed to March 31st from March 26th 2010. According to the sources of Filmnagar the movie Varudu is going to be a Big Hit! The movie has been Produced by DVV Danaiah under Universal Media.

The VARUDU (Telugu movie) signifies bridegroom and the entire movie story consists of five days marriage procession.

Movie:

Sandeep (Allu Arjun) is a happy go lucky guy who is fun loving but very traditional at heart. He decides to get married in the traditional fashion of five-day events and 16 day celebrations. So much so that he decides not to see the face of the bride until the ‘Jeelakarra Bellam’ time. True to his idealism, even the bride Deepthi (Bhanusri Mehra) sticks to it. Just when they are about to get married, Deepthi gets kidnapped by Diwakar (Arya). Why does Diwakar do that? Does the marriage happen? What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
varudu is all about a arranged marriage,which used to happen a 100 years ago and movie is a newer version of ramayanam story with some twists and turns

Allu Arjun: was good in his role,energetic performance.i think he must work on  dialog delivary.
Bhanu mehra : she was not upto the expectations of audience.was good in her role,even danced well in relare relare.
Arya : Here comes the name who stole the show with his dialogs and performance.he made 2nd half worth. action episodes and dialogs were good inbetween arya and bunny
Gunashekar : did good work out script and direction. ithink he must have worked for some more time in the script.it was good not the best performance of gunashekar
Mani sharma: He was at his best.
THotta tharini: He was the man behind making this imaginary story into real.He Was Awesome
Graphics : CG And EFX were highlights of the film

Minus:

Bhrami was wasted for his small role.Entertainment was missing in the movie.
others like Ashish Vidyarthi, Suhasini, Naresh, Vinaya were just for brand value and they didn’t have much to offer. Singeetam Sreenivasa Rao, the senior director did his bit as required
Nasser was natural, Sayaji Shinde was brief, Rao Ramesh came and went.Second half was average which ruined the movie.
Even CLimax scenes were little bit over,and a scene where Hero running away with heroine along with Saline bottle in an action episode were meaning less shots.
Why the hero wants to go in for a pre historic style of marriage? Is it his idealism? Is it just a fantasy? The questions aren’t answered logically

Overall:

Even though the line is copied from Ramayanam.Movie could have made better.Only allu arjun,arya,sets,Lip Lock must save the movie in TMW.
